MISSION

“Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum interprets the broad and deep history of Chittenango Landing: the land, air, water, and people by engaging the public through educational and recreational programming. The museum is not-for-profit 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, and a Charitable Organization recognized by the State of New York, Department of Law, Charities Bureau.

The museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the nation’s official list of properties worthy of preservation. This is in recognition of the importance of this property to the history of our country.
