Make an Impact Today

Your support makes a meaningful impact at our museum. Every donation—no matter the size—helps expand our educational programs and preserve a unique piece of Erie Canal history. Your generosity ensures that future generations can continue to learn from and be inspired by this important cultural heritage.

There are many ways to support our work. You can contribute to our Everyday Operations Fund, help bring our Boat Float 2026 event to life, or donate an item from our Amazon Wishlist to support the creation of an interactive children’s play area. Each contribution directly enhances the experiences we offer to our community.

We are deeply grateful for your support in any form.

Everyday Operations

Our Everyday Operations Fund supports the daily needs that keep Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum running. These general donations help care for the historic site, maintain exhibits and buildings, and provide resources for programs and events throughout the year.

By contributing to Everyday Giving, you help ensure that the museum remains a welcoming place for visitors, students, and families to explore Erie Canal history.

Boat Float 2026

Help us bring exciting, family friendly entertainment to this year's Boat Float n' Folk! Food trucks, demonstrations, live music, craft vendors, family games and more! Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated!

Kids Activity Space

We are excited to create a dedicated children’s activity space where young visitors can learn through play, creativity, and exploration.

This area will bring Erie Canal history to life through hands-on activities, storytelling, and imaginative play. With your help, we can furnish the space with kid-friendly seating, activity tables, and engaging play elements.

Your support will help make the museum more welcoming for families and create meaningful learning experiences for children.
