On Saturday, September 14th, at 10am, Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association is hosting the Paws Along the Erie 5K race at the Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum. Tickets cost $30 and registration ends on September 11th. Proceeds from the event will support Wanderers' Rest in building a new shelter for our furry friends in need.There will be a festival to accompany the race with vendors, food trucks and music. Course: This is an out and back course, with a water station at the halfway point. There will be multiple places for dogs to have water along the course.

Packet Pickup at the Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum:

Friday September 13th 5:00pm to 8:00 pm.

Saturday September 14th 8:00am to 9:30am (before race start at 10:am

Food: There will be water, fruit and energy bars available before and after the race.

Prizes: All participants will receive a medal and there will be a prize for the first place male and female finisher.

Parking: There is parking by the museum and also across the street
