Animals: Learn about the local animals who live here, go on a nature walk to try and find them, then paint an animal of their choice
Plants & Pollinators: Find out what plants we have at the museum, identify them around the area, and use a leaf to make nature prints
Natural Disasters: Simulate a tornado in a bottle and build a structure that survives an earthquake
Survival: What would you take on a desert island? Learn how to survive with limited supplies and build a miniature shelter
Sun, Moon, and Sky: Decorate cookies that show different phases of the moon, tell stories with shadows
Conservation: Find out why it's important to protect the environment we call home
Learn from CLCBM staff, volunteers and outdoor experts including our local Boy Scout Troop!
Explorers will need to wear/bring weather appropriate attire and a lunch.
